Uvod

Seminar Red Hat Linux Networking and Security Administration omogućit će vam stjecanje znanja potrebnih za samostalno i kvalitetno administriranje Red Hat Linux sustava i mrežnih okolina te provedbu politike sigurnosti.
Sva predavanja i vježbe izvode se po precizno definiranom sustavu rada i pravilima korporacije Red Hat, a na RHEL5 (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5) platformi.

Cilj

Usvojiti znanja i vještine potrebne za konfiguriranje i administriranje mrežnih servisa (Apache, DHCP, DNS, NIS, FTP, pppd, proxy, Sendmail, SMB, tftp). Osim toga, usvojiti znanje potrebno pri planiranju, projektiranju i implementacija politike sigurnosti te upoznati sigurnosne alate pod Red Hat Linux sustavima.

Ciljna skupina

Administratori Linux operativnih sustava sa statusom RHCT (Red Hat Certified Tehnician) ili ekvivalantnim znanjem koji znanje žele nadograditi, a u cilju stjecanja statusa RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer).

Sadržaj

1. System Performance and Security

Identify how concepts and well formed policy map to configuration and accountability in networking and security administration.

2. System Service Access Controls

Implement secure access to system and network services using host-based access, SELinux, and system services management.

3. Securing Data

Secure data using fundamental encryption protocols, Public Key Infrastructure, and Digital Certificates. Configure and utilize encrypted remote system administration tools.

4. Network Resource Access Controls

Secure access to systems and services using the NetFilter kernel-level firewall.

5. Organizing Networked Systems

Understand and implement organized networked systems using the DNS and DHCP services.

6. Network File Sharing Services

Configure, control and secure access to FTP, NFS, and SMB/CIFS (Samba).

7. Web Services

Configure, implement and secure access to the Apache Web Server and Squid Proxy Cache.

8. Electronic Mail Services

Configure, implement and secure access to the Sendmail and Postfix SMTP servers.

9. Account Management

Understand account management using Name Switch Service and Pluggable Authentication Modules.
